A palatable blend of prime chaffed Cape lucerne, Omega 3 oils and molasses offering a highly digestible chaff. It can be fed as an additive to boost quality roughage intake. 

​After clean water, fibre is the second most important dietary requirement. Two thirds of the horses digestive capacity is devoted to the digestion and absorption of nutrients from fibre.

Suitable for horses and ponies that require:
  • Low energy fibre additive to help maintain muscle tone and boost condition
  • a premium quality lucerne as a natural acid buffer for horses that are prone to ulcers.
  • A high oil diet, with vegetable oil adding a slow release energy to the ration
  • An easily digested chaff for horses with a reduced chewing capability.

Feeding Instructions:

Chaff should be fed at a minimum of 1%  and up to 2.5% of body weight daily. Feeding rates will differ according to body weight, condition, metabolism, work intensity and amount of concentrated feed and other roughage fed daily.
