11th May 2014
Variety Club, which was raised on Equi-Feeds, is rated the second-best racehorse in the world on the latest ranking of the World's Leading Horses, published by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA).
Variety Club's rating was adjusted from 121 to 126 after his easy win over a star-studded field in the Hong Kong Champions Mile on the 4th May and while the 130-rated Just A Way occupies top spot, his best form in from 1800m to 2000m.
This means that supporters of the SA-bred have validation of their long time claim that he is the best "miler" in the world.
