The Mike Bass trained champion of SA racing is the first horse in SA history to win the race for three consecutive years.

Also fed on EQUI-FEEDS, Dancer's Daughter (GB), River Jetez (SAF) and Kapil (SAF) filled the minor placings in the presigious R2.5M race at Kenilworth in January 2009. Golden Dice, also EQUI-FEEDS fed, ran fifth.
