Pocket Power is crowned Horse of the Year for the third time in a row -

Pocket Power, who is fed on EQUI-FEEDS, retained his Horse of the Year title for a third season running at the glittering 2009 Equus Awards event held at Emperor's Palace in Johannesburg.

The champion is the second horse in South African racing history to retain his crown of Horse of the Year for a third time consecutively.

Pocket Power, who also took the Champion Older Male and the Champion Middle Distance Horse (1400 - 2200m) awards, has demonstrated his superiority at a series of Group 1 events over the season including the J&B Met, Queen's Plate and the Gold Challenge.
